“The name of the game is to beat lesser teams and avoid defeat against the big clubs.
“Newcastle have got to be careful and they need to make sure they don’t get caught up in the occasion.
“I think this game will end in a draw – I don’t see Chelsea winning, and that’s a big compliment to Newcastle.
“Prediction: Newcastle United 1-1 Chelsea.”
Big game for the Magpies
In our view, the match against Chelsea is massive for the Magpies.
Newcastle are in the running for the Premier League top four this season, and a win against former UEFA Champions League winners Chelsea will be a massive statement for them.
The Blues are not in particularly great form at the moment, and the Magpies will fancy their chances of winning the match against Chelsea.
Playing at home will give Newcastle an advantage, and we think that if Eddie Howe’s side start well, then they will be able to get the better of Chelsea.
We do not think that Newcastle will lose, and even a draw for the Magpies would be a good and encouraging result.
